Back from Tucson after two plus weeks of fun!The flu was prevalent this year and knocked me out for a few days, in fact this season so far has the highest amount of cases ever reported there! Foreign buyers were plentiful taking advantage of our weakened dollar! Good rough was very limited but available! Notables were the intense Turquoise Colored Tourmaline from Afghanistan and the bubble gum colored Spinel from Tajikistan along with a couple of rather large sexy Aquas! Pieces average 1 gram with some a little smaller and many larger to two grams. Parcels are 90% + clean! Inexpensive rare material in blocky desirable pieces!!!    Almandine-Spessartite Blend Africa This unique garnet cuts up a pretty red with a peachy-orange overtone. Blocky flawless pieces from about 2 grams to 10.  Spessartite Nodules Africa Gorgeous reddish-orange nodules to one gram! To me this is the prettiest color Spessartite! Blocky round pieces will yield a high recovery! Danburite Mexico This rare material is no-longer being mined! It cuts a gorgeous stone!!! Pieces available from one gram to thirty!   Neon Yellow Apatite Mexico Blocky pieces of this rare material in sizes from about 1 gram to four or five!   Pieces from about ˝ gram to about 2 grams max. Slightly included, blow-out priced!   Aquamarine Africa Old stock Aqua. slightly - moderately included material from about ˝ gram to 3-4 grams! Blow out priced!   Blue Zircon-Cambodia OLD STOCK Hard to get (impossible!), larger, FLAWLESS, good color from about 21/4 grams to 8 grams!!!   Amethyst Brazil Blocky, medium colored pieces from about 5-7 grams to around 10-15! Bargain priced!  PREMIUM SELECT URUGUAYAN AMETHYST Simply the best, and hard to find, this material has a blue haze under fluorescent light! 100% flawless crystals. Available in three sizes: 3-5 grams, 5-7 grams, & 7-15 grams!   TANZANITE Harder and harder to get, with prices up significantly from last year! Four parcels available, individually, un-treated! Each weighs around 18-19 grams! Flawless material, blocky pieces, with some colors that should probably not be heated! Pieces average 2 grams. GOOD INVESTMENT TO TUCK AWAY!
